A WordPress care plan is a monthly service that keeps your website updated, backed up, secure, and working, with a real person to call when something goes wrong. Every Your WP Guy care plan includes checked updates, daily backups, security monitoring, a monthly report, and fixes when an update breaks something. Plans start at $119 a month, month to month.

Care Plan vs. Maintenance Plan: Is There a Difference?
Mostly, no. Both names describe a monthly service that keeps a WordPress site updated, backed up, and secure. Companies use the words differently, so the name tells you less than the list of what is included.
When there is a difference, it is this: a basic maintenance plan runs the updates and the backups. A care plan adds a person who pays attention to your site, fixes what breaks, and answers when you call.
Our care plans are built that way. Updates are checked after they run. Backups run every day. If one of our updates breaks something, we fix it on every plan, not just the expensive one. And every month you get a report in plain English, so you know what happened without logging in.
So when you compare care plans, skip the name and read the list. Ask who checks the site after an update, what happens when something breaks, and who you talk to.
A Real Person Looks After Your Site
A care plan is only as good as the people behind it. With Your WP Guy, that is a small team led by Jonathan Wofford, who has worked with WordPress for more than 21 years and runs Your WP Guy, now looking after 105+ active client sites.
Jonathan is your contact. Most messages are answered by Jonathan himself, not a ticket queue, so you are not explaining your website to a new person every time.
Platinum and Titanium plans include support time each month for the small requests that pile up:
- Platinum: advanced troubleshooting, phone support, and one hour of support time a month
- Titanium: three hours of support time, eCommerce and checkout support, custom theme support, and a load-time guarantee under three seconds
Work outside your plan is billed at a discounted rate on every plan.

A good care plan is clear about where it stops. Ours looks after the site you have. It does not include:
- A redesign or a brand-new website
- Writing new pages or blog posts
- SEO, ads, or marketing campaigns

Not ready for a monthly plan? A one-time WordPress fix is $199 and covers up to two hours of work. If your site has been hacked right now, Emergency Clean Up is a $249 flat rate.
