Reactive Website Support Is a Cost You Can't Afford

The longer your website sits in digital rot, the more it costs to fix. If your Atlanta site went down right now, who would you call nearby? Is there a plan of action? When was your theme last updated, and how long would it take you to notice a broken checkout or a dead contact form? Things break when nobody's watching. A reactive strategy costs your business more, every single day, than a proactive maintenance plan ever will.

Industries We Support in Atlanta

We work with Atlanta businesses across a range of industries, not one narrow niche. Recent work spans ecommerce, marketing agencies, therapists, nonprofits, and accounting firms. Whatever your industry, if you run on WordPress, we know how to keep it running.

Local client, managed-care WordPress fleet

How We Shut Down a WordPress Breach the Same Morning It Started

The situation: A monitored Atlanta client's site triggered an automated alert: an unrecognized administrator account had logged in from overseas. Investigation found two malicious plugins disguised with boring, trustworthy-sounding names, one a self-healing backdoor that silently recreated a hidden admin account on every page load, the other a remote web shell that could erase server logs. The cause was a critical vulnerability in a popular plugin, publicly disclosed the day before, that required no login at all to exploit. Automated bots weaponized it against real sites within hours.

What we did: We removed both malicious plugins directly from the filesystem, not the dashboard, since one hid itself from it. Then we removed the rogue accounts, rotated the site's secret keys to invalidate any stolen session cookies, rotated every password and credential the server could see, updated the vulnerable plugin, and ran a full malware scan.

The result: The breach was contained the same morning it was discovered, because of the login alert that caught it. A follow-up scan came back clean, and the only accounts left on the site were the client's own.

Local client, nonprofit working to revitalize a historic Atlanta neighborhood

The Missing Line of Code That Cost a Nonprofit 40 Seconds

The situation: This nonprofit's website looked and worked fine on office WiFi, but on a typical mobile connection, the homepage took over 40 seconds to show anything. Nothing was visibly broken. No errors, no plugin misbehaving in any settings screen. The site already used modern image formats and had passed every plugin audit.

What we did: We ran live diagnostics on the server itself rather than trusting settings screens, and traced the problem to a single missing line of code in the site's custom theme, one that silently disabled WordPress's built-in image lazy-loading across the entire site. We added the fix, then compounded it: recompressed every homepage photo, right-sized images for phones, optimized custom graphics, eliminated a loading layout shift caused by late-arriving fonts, extended server caching, and removed a plugin that was quietly fighting the hosting platform.

The result: Mobile load time dropped 72 percent, from 40.7 seconds to 11.5 seconds, in a single day. No redesign, no new plugins, only finding the actual cause instead of the things that looked like it.

Local client, marketing agency built around lead-generation forms

The Invisible Captcha Tax

The situation: This form-driven Atlanta marketing agency had every one of its lead-generation forms silently loading a security script eight or more times per page view, 3.6 megabytes of duplicate code on every visit. The site had already started migrating to a lighter, modern captcha system, licensed and configured, but the old system was never switched off. Both stacks stayed wired, with no error and no warning anywhere.

What we did: We finished the abandoned migration, replacing the old captcha with the modern one across all 22 forms in a single pass, backed up first and verified live with a real end-to-end form submission. Then we kept going: preloaded and converted a background hero image the site's own lazy-loading had missed, properly converted a set of heavyweight portfolio images the site's own optimizer had refused to touch, and mapped a three-layer cache stack where one layer was quietly serving stale pages.

The result: Real per-visitor payload dropped nearly in half, about 9 megabytes down to about 4.8, in two days, with every form still protected, and lighter than before.
