GoDaddy is one of the most recognizable names in hosting for a reason. Setup is fast and beginner-friendly, entry pricing is genuinely low, and 24/7 phone and chat support is a real, standing offer, not a marketing line. Their Managed Hosting for WordPress plans start at $6.99 a month and include automatic updates, malware scanning, and a Cloudflare CDN.
What is not included at any tier: a person who logs into your site, notices an update broke something, and fixes it. That work is either yours, your developer's, or it does not get done. GoDaddy's checkout and dashboard are also known for persistent upsell prompts, and the advertised entry price is a promotional rate, not what you pay long term.
